What if Linux and Windows had a wedding
by Daniel R Stout
What if Linux and Windows had a wedding
and all the companies were in attendance
that night there would be a bedding
and the developers would have independence
The union would likely produce
a Frankenstein child of great intelligence
but Microsoft would be obtuse
and issue press releases on its kin’s developments
But the child of Linux and Windows
would be born with a strong willpower
it would sleep at night on soft pillows
but eat the spawn of Mac OS X, so sour!
The marriage, it would probably last
because operating systems are so easy going
in the end, they’d have to forget the past
so the fanboys would give up their trolling
And so I must end this tortured poem
for perhaps my mind feels lazy
my mouth it barely gives a drone
and Linux and Windows drive me crazy
